- This project implemented the first 765kV six-bundle conductor configuration in North America, reducing project noise by roughly half.
- Connecting Wyoming County, WV to Jackson’s Ferry, VA, this project extended AEP’s 765kV network to 2100 miles, at the time a greater distance than all other US electric utilities combined.
