Operating as multiple projects in one, the TRC New Jersey project required the construction of 9 substations across New Jersey. Locweld designed and fabricated the substation structures for all nine, which included station steel, tubular ‘’A’’ and ‘’H’’ frames and lightning mast.

This project was achieved in collaboration with TRC Companies and PSE&G. The nine substations built consist of the Ward Avenue, Springfield, Pierson, West Orange (which constitutes 550 of the 910 tons required for this project group), Laurel, Fanwood, Aldeen, Marion and New Dover. The main challenge regarding these substations structures was the amount of work in a very short period. As we focus on customer satisfaction at all times, we made sure to deliver the structures according to the expectations of the Customer.V
